"Celebrating the 50th release on JNN I’ve invited some of the best artists from around the globe to join this massive compilation album. In total 52 artists joined to create the finest in what is available in experimental music these days. Much of what you hear is unreleased work with the exception of a handful. These tracks have been carefully mastered and put together to present to you a 4 CD epic journey into sound. Together with the artwork the puzzle lies ahead to find out what exactly is ‘normal’. A tip of the veil… there is not one answer. What one considers normal another may disagree on with totally different standards. Or in short : we are all just not normal and we all are... no-R-mal!"

"So here is the 6th and penultimate installment in our series. As usual, it culls old historical pieces, little-known gems, and even a few previously unreleased tracks from the greatest Japanoise bands, a few representatives of the younger generations (from all around the world), some rare tracks from the '80s, and it all ends with a lull that lets transpire what may be felt as a kind of undefinable mystery. The Sub Rosa compilations are dotted with a who's who of the electro-acoustic avant-garde from the past century, tossed in with a smorgasborg of previously unknown (and often very interesting) artists as well as contemporary musicians who are well on their way to establishing themselves within the canons of the institutional avant-garde. Sub Rosa has gone out of its way to compile a collection to scramble one's notions of the taxonomic rhetoric that may influence the perception of any of the artists present... (Aquarius)

Records PMS01 - CDR - édition limitée Julie Rousse :: Solo	In these pieces by Julie Rousse the movement remains suspended between the sole coordinates of the anticipated momentary release predetermined by the advent of the inevitable breakdown of the system/machine. The sounds she produces, evoke a perpetual loosening of fixed coordinates, an incessant structural slippage under the constraints of enduring narrative duress. Under that inhumane narrative which motivates, melds and constrains every element of the societal structure the only interest is in the wholly asymmetrical redirection of reflectivity away from itself. Freedom, on the other hand, as is evinced in these pieces, lies precisely within the heart of this structure: in the inevitabilty of it's momentary break-down under the strains of it's own existential preconditions.
